The obvious thing to do with numbers in numerology is to add them up, so that is what I did with these number 6, 9 and 11 that consistently appeared in my life from May 2001 up to the time of the World Trade Center attack:
6 + 9 + 11 = 26
2 + 6 = 8
I quote here again what I wrote more than a year ago about these numbers:
There are 7 days in the Creation Myth. There are 7 notes in the diatonic scale (doh, re, mi, fah, soh, la, ti). On the 8th day/note one returns again to the beginning of the week/scale: ("That will bring us back to doh! Doh! Doh! Doh! Doe a deer a female deer..." from The Sound of Music). Some people call the New Age the 8th day of Creation. An
on its side represents infinity
.
26 is also the number of the last letter, the "omega", of the alphabet. Converting this number back to the alphabet therefore produces a letter, which symbolizes "The End". The international symbol for South Africa is "ZA", consisting of the last and the first letters of the alphabet, symbolizing closure/end/omega and beginning/alpha at the same time.
An African name for South Africa that bears heavy political implication, but has become to me one of the most symbolic names for South Africa is AZANIA. The first three letters to me symbolizes beginning(A)-end(Z)-new beginning(A). Now consider the following passage I wrote recently:
The symbolic relationship between Iraq and South Africa is the following: Mesopotamia is according to Scripture the origin of Mankind. Two of the 4 rivers that flowed from the Garden of Eden (Genesis 2:10-14) are the Tigris and Euphrates. These are the 2 main rivers that flow through Iraq. Archeologically, however, Africa, specifically South Africa is probably the origin of Mankind. I live 30km away from a region which has been dubbed: the "Cradle of Humankind". North West of Johannesburg is an archeological site called the Sterkfontein Caves, which according to the latest research, is where the oldest traces of the ancestors of prehistoric man can be found. I live on the "Alpha" of Mankind.

In March 2004 I visited an event manager in this area and took a picture in front of his house of this "World Heritage" signpost. The cosmically beautiful flowers growing below this sign are called "Cosmos". |
The region of South Africa, regarded by many as the last hope for a continent that has been "written off as a lost case" by many others in the developed world, is where human life originated from, it is also where Western Civilization has learnt to live in relative peace with African cultures and I believe South Africa is rising like a Phoenix to set fire to a continent that is rife for an African Renaissance, a Second Spiritual and Economic Renaissance. Visit Rising Phoenix, an interesting site about new South African national symbols and their relationship to ancient Egyptian symbols.
Other palindrome numbers like 46664, Nelson Mandela's prison number on Robin Island for 18 years bear special significance to me as well:
Again this number represents the last letter in the alphabet. As I have pointed out before, the South African flag symbolizes the number 666:

I
interpret the symbolism of the South African flag as follows: It has
6 colours, 6 internal corners and 6 internal lines. The "Y" represents
the Superior Man, of which the life of Nelson Mandela, I believe, is
the most superior example on this planet. The idea of the "Y" representing
a man is as old as the time when South Africa was welcomed back in
the Olympic family and the airplane with which the South African Olympic
team traveled to the Olympic games was decorated with the symbol on
the right above. From top to bottom the flag represents a time line.
We start off with the colours of the ruling political party, the ANC
(black, green and gold). As time goes by these colours diminish and
the lines come together, ultimately leaving only the primary colours
(blue, green and red). Together they constitute all the colours of
the rainbow. The lines continue parallel to each other into
.
The number 6 in itself does not have a negative connotation, as some people might interpret it according to Revelation 13:18. 6 is the number of harmony and family. 666 represents to me the Harmony, Peace and Brotherhood/Family of Mankind, the ideals of the New Age and the Rainbow Nation (South Africa). 6+6+6=18 and reduces to number 9 (1+8). The other 2 numbers in the number 46664, reduces to the number 8, representing other aspects of the life of Nelson Mandela, specially 44: "The power of earth, the base, resistance, persistence, patience, credibility, exigency. 44 must fight a lot before it gets what it wants." Finally 46664 as palindrome represents the balance that the life of Nelson Mandela brought to South Africa and the world, as the world's most respected citizen.
