The fullness of time - Palindrome years (1 of 2)

A palindrome is a word or a number that is "spelt" with the same sequence of letters/numbers from the front as from the back. "Madam I'm Adam" is a typical example for a palindrome phrase, because the first letter corresponds with the last, the second letter corresponds with the second last, etc.

Palindromes symbolize to me first and foremost "balance" - draw an imaginary line down the middle of any palindrome and there is an equal "weight" on both sides of the line.

Palindrome numbers symbolizes to me balance and palindrome years symbolizes years that bring/restore balance, not only to the "scales" of justice (hence I relate palindromes to the Astrological sign, Libra), but as I have experienced lately, also in a personal, emotional and spiritual way.

		The sign for Libra on the right contains an omega sign in which I see a pair of two 2's mirroring each other concealing the power number 22.

Ever since I discovered the following numerical relationships in my own life I have had a fascination with palindrome numbers (I quote the article I wrote in December 2002):

In May 2001 I started analyzing all numbers in my life, bank account numbers, car registration numbers, IDs, birth dates, telephone numbers and many more. I came to the astonishing realization that every number in my life reduced numerologically to one of the following numbers: 6, 9 and 11. For months at end I continued holding my breath each time I analyzed a new number I discovered that related to me personally, only to find yet another number that reduced to 6, 9 or 11.

1991 + 11 = 2002
1993 + 9 = 2002
1996 + 6 = 2002

In 1991 I became ill, in 1993 I became ill again and in 1996 I wrote for the first time that I am the Second Christ. These were the major turning points in my spiritual development. At the end of 2002 I wrote this article and started this web site.

The outbreak of my illness/spiritual experience also started in 1991, the second to last palindrome year around the time of the total solar eclipse in July 1991. In my own life palindrome years represent major turning points in my life.

The last time that people experienced more than one palindrome year in one generation was around the turn of the previous millennium in the years 999 and 1001. For the last 1000 years they occurred every 110 years (the same number of floors in the World Trade Center). Around the turn of the current new millennium and before 1000 AD they occurred every 11 years. 11 is the number of the Age of Aquarius, Aquarius being the 11th sign in the Zodiac. In Numerology 11 is the power number of Revelation. The zero at the end of the number 110 serves to amplify the basic energy of 11. Palindrome years are therefore completely ruled by the number 11.

Once I saw the relationship between my spiritual development and palindrome years, I decided to do a bit of research on artistic achievements during previous palindrome years. I discovered that one of my favorite philosophical poems, which has great significance to the content of this web site, Also sprach Zarathustra by Friedrich Nietzsche, was completed in the third to last palindrome year, in August 1881. The topic of Thus spake Zarathustra is the "Superman". Nietzsche is famous for the quote from this poem: "Man is a rope stretched between the animal and the Superman - a rope over an abyss." In 1984, the first year  that I was a member of the South African National Youth Orchestra, we performed a piece, a musical interpretation of (and named after) Nietzsche's poem, by Richard Strauß. It is by far my favorite orchestral work. On this web site I discuss what I believe to be the qualities of the "Superior Man". I also discovered that the greatest exponent of the artistic style of Cubism, Pablo Picasso, was born in the same year. After I made these startling discoveries, I got the idea to calculate all the palindrome years since 0 AD. When I first calculated them I did not include the first 9 (1-9) because they are single digits, but strictly speaking they have to be considered palindromes too because they fit the description of a palindrome - their spelling is identical, both backwards and forwards. All basic numbers and power numbers (11, 22 and 33) in Numerology are therefore also palindromes. Since 0 AD, there has been 119 palindrome years. This number contains the date of the WTC attack on 11/9/2001, though not in the order that Americans write dates (9/11), but in other countries, writing the day before the month is normal. Since last week it also relates to the Madrid Train Bombings, which took place exactly 911 days after the WTC attack.

Now let us pause here for a moment. Ask yourself the following question: "Is it correct that the Madrid Train Bombings took place exactly 911 days after September 11, 2001?" Then read the foot note.¹ More about the Madrid Bombings later in this article.

If one puts these 2 numbers together one would get another palindrome: 119911 or 911119. Inside this number you will also find the number of deaths that have incurred up to date (13/3/2004) in the Madrid train bombings: 119911². Doing so symbolizes to me that understanding the symbolic connection between these incidents in world history and the numbers that connect them, will bring balance to the Scales of Justice. If one reduces this number 119911 numerologically (1+1+9+9+1+1) one arrives also at the power number 22.

Now also look at the transformation of the power number 33 into an 8:

And here is another fun one for number 66 (the number of books in the Christian Bible) and 99 (both multiples of 33 and also considered to be power numbers by some numerologists):

¹ If your answer is "Yes", you probably base your answer on the fact that the media publicized this "fact" very extensively worldwide. The fact is that the bombings took place exactly 912 days after the WTC attack! I was also one of the people who believed the media. In fact, the day after the bombings I received a telephone call from a person working for the Beeld, our local Afrikaans newspaper who visited this web site after making her own calculations. She wanted to know from me what the numerological significance of this strange coincidence is. It was only after I recently visited another site that I realized the truth. Do a simple Excel calculation like the following one (I added a control calculation to show how Excel calculates dates) and you will see what I mean:

The first point I am trying to make is to show how easily we believe what we hear and read in the media. I believe that most people who did hear or read that the attack took place exactly 911 days after the WTC attack still believe this information, and for that reason I find it relevant to write about the numerological significance of the Madrid Bombings taking place on a date that is 911 days after 9/11, though strictly speaking it did not happen in the way the media suggested. Though intentional disinformation can not be ruled out in this case, it probably happened because somebody forgot that this year is a leap year and the original error was multiplied throughout the world media. But this harmless example does show how easy it is to be misinformed by the media. Another harmless example of media disinformation that tricked nearly the whole planet, was that the beginning of the new millennium was celebrated exactly one year to early! Later on in this article you will find rather unsettling information that, if proven true, would require every American to rethink many burning issues in current world affairs and US foreign affairs. Intentional disinformation is unfortunately not so harmless...

Secondly: the real question is this: "Did the terrorists plan the attack to fall on a date 911 days after the WTC attack, and if so, did they also err in their calculation?" My interpretation is that it was indeed planned in such a way and that the error crept in to demonstrate exactly the point I am trying to make above - a divine pun, if you want.

² Though the number of deaths changed the very next day, I leave this sentence here, because I want to show that a specific fact can have a very short life span and meaning. I wrote this sentence on 13/3 and the value had only meaning to me on that day. It's meaning and truth "expired" the next day. (edited 23 May 2004)
